Born and raised in Istanbul, Ilayda moved to London in 2016 to study Civil Engineering. After several years in the engineering industry, she combined her structural eye with a love for design to launch Ilana with her twin sister in 2023 in Istanbul & London. Alongside Ilana, she also continues to contribute to her family’s fine jewellery business.

Also born and raised in Istanbul, Tuana moved to London in 2016 to study Graphic Design at Central Saint Martins. After working as a graphic designer on international projects, she began translating her artistic vision and illustrations into Ilana’s visual world. She continues her creative work through her design studio, @tuanagurdalstudio.
